Head of Family Team

Main purpose of the role: To head up and run the Hedges Law family team, providing both technical expertise and professional support to the team members and delivering legal services to our high net worth clients. The successful candidate will have a passion for business development and display a real drive for making their own name as well as elevating their team's visibility both in the local market and nationally.

The legal role will involve advising on all family related matters, including divorce and separation, children disputes, financial remedy claims, pre- and post-nuptial settlements, domestic violence, cohabitation matters, ToLATA claims, domestic violence, surrogacy & adoption etc.

We're looking for a real star, someone who will take this team and fly. An ambitious, intelligent and capable team leader to grow and strengthen this team, taking it to the next level.

Head of Private Client, Oxford

We are looking for a Private Client lawyer to head up and run the Hedges Law private client team in Oxford, providing both technical expertise and professional support to the team members and delivering legal services to our high net worth clients.  The successful candidate will have a passion for business development and display a real drive for making their own name as well as elevating their team’s visibility both in the local market.

The role will involve advising on all private client related matters, including estate administration for both taxable and non-taxable estates, the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals, and Court of Protection matters.

Client Concierge, Oxford

Main purpose of the role: To be the face of the company for clients and staff, receiving clients in a friendly, professional manner in accordance with the company values. You will be the first point of contact for any new clients walking into reception and dealing with their initial enquiries.

Senior Conveyancer, Oxford and/or Wallingford

Main purpose of the role: To assist the Head of Property with her ever increasing residential property workload with a view to taking on increasing levels of responsibility and running files with autonomy. The successful candidate will need to become fully immersed in all departmental marketing and business development initiatives and have real drive to make his or her own name in the local market.

Required legal skills: The post will involve advising on all residential property related matters.

Case Administrator, Oxford

Main purpose of the role: To assist with the implementation and administration of the firm’s new Practice Management System, to include working with team members to identity and build workflow, and to undertake training from Tikit in relation to this role as part of the overall project plan and to be a key member of the Tikit Project Team.

Key duties and tasks include undertaking the required training on Tikit; building workflow for team casetypes - a sequence of steps in case management that join up a legal process flow; uploading and managing templates onto the Tikit system; assisting with data cleansing and preparation of data for the final migration; assisting with end-user training of Tikit and support after go-live.
