We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Senior Private Client Lawyer to join our fabulous Inheritance and Lifetime Planning team.  We offer a modern 21st century way of working: 9 to 5 need no longer be ‘working hours’. The main purpose of the role is to lead the Hedges Law ILP team to fulfil key goals such as continuing to attract clients looking for high service and value, and being recognised as top ILP Solicitors. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' PQE in ILP and will want to do things differently, using the latest electronic technology to deliver world-class client service.

Family Team Solicitor

Our Family Team, described by Legal 500 as being “one of the very best family law firms in the Oxford area”, has a vacancy for a lawyer with at least 8 years’ PQE in high net worth financial remedy cases. We are looking for someone with a growth mindset, a strong desire and openness to learn more, and high professional standards.

The successful candidate will have significant legal experience and a high level of proven competency in family law. Specifically, experience in the high net worth financial remedy claims and contested proceedings is essential. The primary responsibilities of the role include the delivery of exceptional legal service, superlative client care, and business development. You will work flexibly between our Oxford and Wallingford Business Hubs, and remotely as per the demands and needs of the team.

Private Client Senior Solicitor

This is an exciting time to join Hedges; we are almost a year into employee-ownership and have ambitious growth plans across the business. One of the key areas of growth is our Private Client team and we are therefore recruiting for a senior solicitor with 5+ PQE and ideally STEP qualification.

The successful candidate will run their own caseload and assist the Team Leader with business development, as well as providing inheritance and lifetime planning advice for HNW individuals. The role is hybrid and flexible, with 2 days per week based in our Oxford office.

Residential Property Solicitor

The Residential Property team at Hedges is going through an exciting period of growth and we are recruiting an experienced solicitor to play a key role in growing our team and attracting an increased proportion of instructions from existing clients and/or referrals.

The successful candidate will run their own caseload and assist the Team Leader with business development and implementation of new precedents/processes. The focus of the team is to provide a high level of client care to high end clients in and around Oxfordshire.  Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team is essential.  The candidate should also be interested in embracing new technologies.

Client Support Advisor

Hedges Law is looking for a high energy and dynamic Client Support Advisor to provide pre-, mid- and post- sales support. Reporting to the Director of Culture and Innovation, this role will be responsible for servicing inbound prospect enquiries, following up ‘lost’ prospects and newly instructed prospects, continuing to build client-Hedges relationships and harvesting client reviews.

This is not a silo position. We want a collaborative and energetic individual who can contribute to the legal and marketing teams, work in a dynamic environment, deliver feedback to us and work proactively to drive overall sales performance and promote our  ‘surprise and delight’ value. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, easily initiates relaxed but professional and informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly organised and self-motivated.
