"Working hard is important, but there is something that matters even more: believing in yourself."

I love to help others and take huge satisfaction from seeing the difference I can make to people, both in the workplace and their personal lives.
I am getting better at challenging myself to operate more outside of my comfort zone, to prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to. This definitely comes with experience, as I would not have been confident doing this 10 years ago!
I qualified as a Legal Executive in 2010, having studied Law at University in Leeds. I have also worked as a legal secretary for a number of years before more recently branching out into training, IT development and resource management. I joined Hedges in February 2016 after working for another Oxford law firm for almost 10 years.
Ever since I can remember, I have grown up around musical theatre and I absolutely love going to the Oxford and London theatres to see a show, sometimes more than once! The most recent show I went to see was Wicked at the Apollo Victoria theatre and it was fantastic.
When I am not working or looking after my family, I love to sit down and read, and to feel transported into another time and place. From the classics of the Bronte sisters, Thomas Hardy and Jane Austen to the more modern works of Sophie Kinsella, for me, nothing can beat that feeling of relaxing in my favourite place, ready to start a new journey.
