'You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water' Rabindranath Tagore
I joined the Private Client department at Hedges in June 2020, as a paralegal advising on Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. I have also assisted clients in other areas of Private Client including Court of Protection matters.
I enjoy my role at Hedges, as there is an array of opportunities to not only grow as a professional but also provide a holistic service which is meaningful and valuable to clients as individuals.
I have a strong belief that individuals should have the freedom and respect in making their own decisions. Whilst studying as an undergraduate, I wrote my dissertation on the concept of autonomy in the field of Medical law. I find that Private Client work also encapsulates the idea of advising clients on how best to take charge and ensure that their wishes are respected and protected.
When I am not at work, I absolutely treasure spending time with my family. We cook good food, play family games (which often ends in minor squabbles as to who actually won) and also just unwind after a busy week.
