"Keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things... your curiosity will lead you down the path of success." - Walt Disney

In my spare time I love to spend time relaxing with my family and friends. I particularly enjoy a long walk, getting some fresh air and making the most of the nice weather in the summer (if we are lucky enough to see the sun!). I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the country.
I joined Hedges in September 2018 after working for another Oxford law firm for almost 7 years, where I qualified as a solicitor. I have a particular interest in elderly client matters, which often involve issues surrounding mental capacity, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Court of Protection. I enjoy meeting people and I feel privileged that my profession as a Private Client solicitor enables me to meet new people all the time.
I recently began volunteering for a local Good Neighbour Scheme, and I am finding my work with them very rewarding. The scheme focuses on providing social contact and practical help for members of the older local community.
I deal with the preparation and registration of LPAs, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPAs) and Court of Protection matters such as deputyship applications and providing deputy and attorney services. I advise clients regarding paying for care, NHS Continuing Care claims, deal with the administration of estates and the preparation of Wills.
